Turn sort of....

OK I did a turn for my character...well sort of, since my character doesn't have a legs or a waist...or even a backbone...or any kind of skeletal structure he doesn't really need to turn around physically. What he does do is basically have his eye 'float' to the side that he wants to look. At first I couldn't decide if to do that or make him do the T-1000 thing where the eyes and mouth just goes inwards and poops out the back, so I ask Cherise and she said the terminator thing might be a bit creepy. I kinda thought so too, so I went with the other thing.

OH also there is this link to an article that was sent to me that might be interesting to all of us in class:

turning mistake

OK I have completely misunderstood what we were suppose to do. When I heard a turnaround and must be in a pose I thought it was a turn table like turnaround so I did that instead. But just today Cherise tells me that it was and actual turnaround of our characters. =( I failed....

So I uploaded what I did anyways....

rough and raw

After working on this for such a long time and into the wee hours of the morning. (Ive only gotten 3 hours of sleep, estimated might be less) OK this is what I got so far, I didn't have enough time to put in sound and sound FX and polish it off. Oddly the file is over 100mb and so I can't upload it to the UH server, since they are too cheap to give us anything over 20 megs without begging for it. *shakes fist in air*

posters and things

Ok I got the character design for the main character and the movie poster, I haven't gotten to designing the other characters yet.

So basically my character is a blob of sorts and I'm thinking of calling it blobby. His story is that one day he got spit out from under ground and has no way back and so he decides to see if he can find his place on the surface. Along the way he finds other creatures that are different from him and although he makes friends he still doesn't get the feeling that he belong and at the end of the journey although he went through a lot he realizes that they others may be different but if it wasn't for him their lives would still be the same. In a way he did belong with these others even if they are different, Blobby in the end was the glue in a way of all these differences.
